Shared Ministry Position Description
Position:
Hospitality / Coffee and Donuts
Purpose of Position:
Provide hospitality after Sunday Mass.
Responsibilities:
- Set up tables, coffee, foods for hospitality prior to Mass per training instructions.
- Be present at hospitality tables following Mass to serve parishioners.
- Clean up after hospitality per training instructions.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, outgoing, welcoming spirit.
- Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to work well with others.
Amount of time required:
45-75 minutes when assigned; two volunteer couples or families working together is preferable; rotating schedule with others sharing this ministry.
When ministry is performed:
Sunday mornings for 30 minutes before Mass and up to 45 minutes after Mass (September – May) and at least three Sundays during the summer months (June-August).
Length of Commitment:
One year (July-June)
Training provided:
Initial training; written instructions each week in Hospitality containers; additional information as needed.
